Howdy out there. It's Upshur Whittock. I kind of envy you living near San Francisco and working there. I've been there twice and twice isn't nearly enough.
I now live in Virginia, not too far from Washington, with my wife of 7 years, my daughter of almost 16 months, my native born American dog and my Honduran immigrant (legal) dog.
I have a small non-profit (www.bista.org) that I'm working on; by "small" I mean I'm the only one working for it. I'm a stingy boss, so I don't pay myself anything; it's lucky my wife has a good job and is understanding enough to support us while I work on my project.
I still keep up with a bunch of friends from Strath Haven. How many do you see or talk to these days? I know Beth Walton lives out your way--near San Francisco, but I don't know just where offhand.
Hope you're well out there.
Adiós,
Upshur
