Being at this conference is a little bit like stepping back in time. Eight years ago, in one of the few pieces I wrote for Suck.com, I had a dream...
A dream of mythic proportions. A dream that began with the first kill file I ever wrote. A dream of declaring myself independent of this so-called "online community." I want to become one of the Freemen of the Internet.
With all the talk of personalized search results, custom-spliced RSS feeds and APIs that will give me programmatic access to just the right set of products, their prices and their reviews, the dream is just starting to come true.
(I have thoroughly scoured the internet looking for a way to email you and have turned up nothing; so I figured I'd comment on the most recent post.)
Concerning: "The Postal Service: Give Up -- What's his name's side project; lots of good blips and bleeps, plus some great spacey backing vocals. More like this, please."
I would recommend you check out "Life is Full of Possibilities" by Dntel — a pseudonym for the half of the Postal Service that is Danny Tamborello. It's darker, but just as amazing an album as "Give Up," and actually features a superb collaboration with Ben Gibbard.
I would also urge you to check out "Neon Golden" by The Notwist and The Cansecos self-titled album (both released last year). Drop me an email, if you'd like. Keep up the good work.

Not a Postal Service fan, but Dntel is pretty great.
